On Friday, February 20th, PechaKucha Night Cleveland headed to RedSpace at the Hotcards World Headquarters at 2400 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. This evening was broadcast globally as a part of the PechaKucha Global Night where over 100 cities worldwide will be hosting PKN events on the same day!
Cleveland presenters include furniture designer Freddy Hill who will share some of his work and likely a story or two about his time on Spike TV's Framework television show; Dr. Brandy Schillace, researcher and writer who will be sharing with us her expertise on death and living; photographer Keith Berr will be sharing his photography from the Bonneville Salt Flats; community builder and conversation instigator Andrew Samtoy will share the story of his recent family reunion; CUDC Associate Director David Jurca will be sharing with us his thoughts and expertise on COLD design; Salty not Sweet Boutique owner Candra Squire; furniture designers and teachers Peter Debelak & Sean Wheller; and parent of over 40,000 children in Cleveland, Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Eric Gordon.
